Celebrating Father Paul's 65th Anniversary in Tanzania A Heartfelt Reflection on Community and Connection. 5,000 people came to share Father Paul's anniversary.

On behalf of Roads To Life Tanzania, Inc I shared the following message at his celebration in Nkololo Tanzania.

Can you imagine stepping into the unknown—sailing 8,500 miles across the ocean, leaving behind all that is familiar, to embrace a new language, a new culture, and a new way of life?

That’s exactly what Father Paul did, 65 years ago.

He answered a sacred call—a call from God—to bring the light of Christ to a distant land. Through every sunrise and sunset, he walked in faith, serving the Lord Jesus Christ with unwavering devotion. Whether preaching the Word, building roads, educating the young, or healing the sick, Father Paul gave his life in service to others.

65 years of love.

65 years of selflessness.

65 years of saying “Yes, Lord, send me.”

Imagine how different our lives, and the lives of so many, would have been had Father Paul not responded to God’s whisper on his heart.

Throughout the decades, he shared his journey with parishes across Wisconsin—his beloved home. He spoke of the beauty of Tanzania, of its people—of you, and your ancestors. His stories touched hearts and inspired generosity. Through those gifts, Father Paul was able to carry out countless works of mercy and hope.

Today, we give thanks.

We celebrate you, Father Paul, and we praise God for your faithfulness.

Thank you for answering His call—and for walking with us for 65 incredible years.
